BZÄK/German Dental Association - General Assembly Elects New Executive Board– Strong International Attendance in Berlin

The General Assembly of the German Dental Association (Bundeszahnärztekammer/BZÄK) took place in the German capital on 31 October and 1 November 2025, bringing together national delegates and international guests. 
 
The event was opened with welcoming remarks from German Federal Minister of Health Nina Warken and the President of the World Dental Federation (FDI), Prof. Dr. Nikolai Sharkov.
 
In accordance with the regular election cycle, delegates elected the new Executive Board of the BZÄK. Dr. Romy Ermler was voted President of the German Dental Association. She will be joined on the Executive Board by Dr. Ralf Hausweiler from North Rhine as Vice President and Dr. Doris Seiz from Hesse as Vice President.
 
The BZÄK was honored to welcome numerous international representatives, including CED President Freddie Sloth-Lisbjerg from Denmark and ERO President Edoardo Cavallé from Italy, underscoring the Association’s strong global ties and commitment to international collaboration.
