IDA congress 2025 - short report

The ERO President and President-Elect were kindly hosted by IDA President Lior Katsap and ERO Board Member Ariel Slutski at the Annual Congress in Tel Aviv from December 3 to December 5. The topic of this year’s congress was “Dentistry Multidimensional.”

The ERO President highlighted that this year’s topic provided a clear overview of the dentistry of the future. AI in medicine and in dentistry is a medical device that must be regulated through risk assessment, considering patient safety and potential dangers. There is no doubt that we need a control system that governs the market, and ethically, human leadership cannot be completely delegated to AI. Diagnosis, communication, medical and surgical planning, intra-operative technology integration, post-operative QA, data storage and processing, and training will remain the main pillars of “Dentistry Multidimensional.”
